How to Use Trusty Silicone Cleaning Plugs

Caution:
When inserting silicone plugs into the pipe, be mindful that it is “GLASS” you are working with. Push the plugs in gently yet firmly into the holes.

Some glass pipes are made super thin and are very easy to break. Extra care should be taken when inserting plugs into these pipes. Don't force the plugs in to far.

**When both the plug and glass are dry upon insertion, the plug does not need to be wedged in very hard.

**During vigorous shaking, re-enforce the plugs with your fingers or hands if possible.

Cleaning Instructions:

Pipe Cleaning
Step 1) Plug up all the holes except for the one you will be pouring the solution into.

**note – the silicone plug and the hole must be free from all liquid to seal correctly. You can achieve this by plugging as many holes as possible before starting the cleaning process; you can also give he plugs and the holes a quick wipe with a paper towel or q-tip.

Step 2) Pour cleaning solution into the pipe.
Step 3) Make sure no water is on glass nor plug, then insert the plug into the final hole.
Step 4) Shake or let sit. (how long? that depends on the cleaning solution strength and the build up in the pipe)
Step 5) Remove the mouth piece plug(and the carb plug if applicable) and dump out solution.
Step 6) Let water run through the mouth piece and out the carb. Repeat steps 2-6 again if necessary

Pipe-Bowl Cleaning

Step 1) Put the correct size plug in the bowl hole.
Step 2) Pour cleaning solution into the bowl. The plug should be keeping the solution from entering the pipe!
Step 3) Use a q-tip to swab around the bowl as the reservoir of cleaning solution continues to penetrate the build up.
Step 4) Rinse. Repeat if necessary

**note - the fastest way to clean a bowl is to hold the bowl upside down in a flame for about 15
seconds(or until the build up in the bowl is hot), then bunch up a paper towel and push it into bowl
with a spinning motion until all of the build up if gone.

Bong Cleaning
Step 1) Pull slide out of bong and plug the hole with the correct plug. If your bong has a glass lip around the hole the slide goes in, it might be easier for you to get the plug out if you insert a small nail into the plug before putting the plug in the bong. To take the plug out, you wiggle the plug back and forth lightly while pulling gently.

**note – the silicone plug and the hole must be free from all liquid to seal correctly. You can achieve
this by plugging as many holes as possible before starting the cleaning process; you can also give
the plugs and the holes a quick wipe with a paper towel or q-tip.

Step 2) Empty the dirty bong water, rinse out the bong and pour in the cleaning solution and additives of your choice.(Acetone – recommended , rubbing alcohol of 91% or 99% , or 420 cleaner)
Step 3) Make sure the mouth piece of the bong is dry and insert the final plug.
Step 4) Shake or let sit. (how long depends on the cleaning solution strength and the build up in the pipe)
Step 5) Remove the mouth piece plug(and the carb plug if applicable) and dump out solution.
Step 6) Fill bong with water and rinse. Repeat steps 2-6 again if necessary.
